Please note - enrolment fees are required for students enrolling for the full year, details will be attached to your registration. Questions about which class is best for your dancer? Ciara achieved her TCRG certification in 2011 and is a registered teacher with An Coimisiún le Rincà Gaelacha. She has been coaching Irish dancers in Penticton since 2009 and opened the Castilla School of Irish dance in 2018. Ciara competed at the highest level of Irish dancing, qualifying for and competing at the World Championships, North American Championships and European Championships. Ciara loves sharing her passion with her dancers, and wants them to feel inspired, encouraged, and challenged in dance class. She believes that the skills and confidence built in the studio will carry on with her students throughout their lives.
Kelsea achieved her TCRG in 2022, passing the exam with honours, and is a registered teacher with An Coimisiún le Rincà Gaelacha. Kelsea completed all 12 of the CLRG grade levels, becoming the first Castilla dancer to earn her diploma in Irish dancing. Kelsea danced at the highest level of Irish dance, competing in many major championships, and now after many years dancing, she has joined the teaching ranks!

The objective of the not-for-profit Hibernian Heritage Society is to preserve the history and promote the future of Irish Dancing and Irish culture in the Okanagan valley, including Step Dancing, Ceili-Dancing and other team dancing as well as the culture, language and music of Ireland.
We love performing! The students of Castilla Irish Dance have entertained at festivals, cultural events and St. Patrick’s day parties all over the Okanagan. Our students also love to dance for school groups, assisted living facilities and corporate events. Hire the Castilla dancers for some high energy Irish entertainment at your next event!
